BENTONVILLE, Ark (March 31, 2025) – Benton County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Joshua Robinson announced today that he is running for Circuit Judge, Division VI, in Benton County on the March 2026 ballot.
Robinson recently completed his service as Prosecuting Attorney for Benton County, having been appointed by Governor Sarah Sanders in October 2023. Prior to his appointment, Robinson quickly rose through the ranks at the prosecutor’s office, serving at every level of leadership. He built a reputation as a skilled and experienced trial attorney, relentless in his pursuit of justice for victims. He regularly presents and teaches on the investigation and prosecution of human trafficking and child exploitation. Robinson is a law enforcement instructor, teaching regularly at ALETA (Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy).
“Benton County is one of the best places in our country to raise a family; it is where I have chosen to raise my family,” said Robinson. “The peace and prosperity we enjoy is not an accident, though, and it is not a given. Rather, it is a result of decisive and just leadership and judgment. These judicial positions are vital to upholding the rule of law in our community, and my experience has prepared me for this role. I also believe strongly that we need judges who respect the law, adhere to the Constitution, and don’t legislate from the bench.”
“The Honorable Doug Schrantz has served Division VI of the Circuit Court with integrity and wisdom for many years. I hope to follow in the footsteps of Judge Schrantz and the many other exceptional judges with whom Benton County has been blessed over the years.”
